While no polish is going to be chip proof, this is the only regular paint on style polish I’ve tried that lasts more than a few days without chipping. There’s definitely some shrinkage and wear around the edges after a few days, but I went a week without any major chips or pieces flaking off. I even touched up the edges and went another week with very minimal wear on it then. I workout regularly, wash my hands often, and do dishes without gloves. I definitely put some wear and tear on my nails and this polish still looked decent after a week.This photo was taken after 5 days of wear for reference!Tldr: it’s not gel or acrylic quality, but it’s the longest lasting and most chip resistant polish I’ve ever used.Super surprised how fast it dried, went on smoothly and stayed on my nails without no chipping for weeks! New record for me!The color was a little too peach for me; but the nail polish overall was impressive. It stayed on for about 4 days without chipping at all, and by 10 days only the edges of my nails had chipped. Definitely not as good as getting a gel manicure in a salon, but far better than regular nail polish you can do at home by yourself. It also dried fairly quickly - I waited about 5 minutes in between coats and it did not smudge at all. I also liked that it removed easily and did not need to be taken off at a salon (or let's be honest - scraped off at home). I will definitely buy this in more colors!I like it, but the color I got (Sew Me) is much lighter and "tan/neutral" that I thought. From the picture it seemed more peachy/pink. Still a nice neutral. About the14 day-wear...ehhh... We'll see haha. OH! The brushes are awesome! Why has it taken this long to use these brushes?! It applies the color sooo much better. Also, the texture of the polishes I got was perfect. It was pretty smooth.I am OBSESSED with this gel couture formula from Essie!! I'm actually in love with the topcoat because you can wear it over ANY polish and it works the same. The only "gel-like" polish I've ever had that ACTUALLY functions like a gel. This shade of non-top coat is very subtle and pretty. I got it for my mom who likes neutral tones and she enjoys it as well. I bought this with my own money and in fact bought two other colors and another top coat as well I liked it so much (On The List and Surrounded by Studs are also both beautiful shades).I love the color, however, the nail polish itself is pretty thick and patchy. I normally have to use several coats to evenly cover my nail. It does last pretty long, so maybe it is worth it. I use my hands a lot, and it doesn't chip right away like other polishes do.I might try a different color to see if it's just the pigment effecting the formula.More color than a neutral but works well as one. My nails chip constantly and I usually can't even make it out of the salon without ruining a mani. This is the best nail product I've found so far (besides true gel) in terms of staying power. The brush design is great even for my hopelessly unstable hands. Hoping they add more colors soon!
