This is a heavy jacket that shows the quality of the duster. It fits true to the size guide. The removable cape shows off the style and functionality of the duster. The duster is designed to keep you dry and warm. I don't work in the fields or ride horseback to herd livestock, I use the duster for our heavy southern CA rains. I love to walk in rain but don't like to get wet and I believe this duster will do that no problem. I will let you know after our first heavy rain..
