Update: I wanted to give a recent travel update. I did send back my large and got an extra large. I'm glad I did. If you plan to carry much in the pockets, you may want to go up asize or two from the suggested. By sizing up, this allowed me to travel on a 4-day weekend trip with only a small day pack and 2 jackets (1 being my Scottee Vest Windbreaker , and the other a lightweight puffer for warmth). I was able to pack so much in my SV jacket. I went through security with a breeze. I carried my water bottle in my SV jacket along with all my electronics, snacks, ID, and other essentials for the flight. I didn't bring a purse with me and only wore my jacket with the puffer underneath out sightseeing. When I got too warm, I packed my jacket with it's belongings still in the pockets, into it's storage back pocket and wore it around my waist like a bumbag. I brought a lightweight belt for this very purpose. I was surprised I was able to keep my items in the pockets and pack it up. I am looking forward to my 2-month European trip with this jacket. My travel companions have purchased theirs too. We will be hands free and less lokely of being pickpockets. Well worth the money. I wished that the pockets were RFID since I stored my passport and credit cards in the pockets. I have another solution for that though.Original post:This is better than expected. It's a beautiful color. Quality is great. Size is on the small size. I did size up one size to accommodate layers underneath and to carry things in pockets. I might need to go up 1 more size again to allow more room for layers for winter travel. It's lightweight and versatile. The back stuff pocket for the jacket works great as a pillow when jacket is in it. It also works for storing an extra light layer when not wearing the layer. I am very pleased with this jacket.
