Bought lots of good cold weather jackets over the years. This is my first heated jacket, and I am very impressed with the quality of this product. Even without using the heating feature, this is a very warm but surprisingly lightweight jacket, with excellent water and wind resistant capabilities. But when you need it most, the heating is just seconds away with the push of a button with three levels of heating. I have used this jacket so far in some pretty cold conditions. Single digit temps, subzero wind chill, wet, raining and also hiking with the wind blowing the snow sideways. Never felt like I needed a better jacket. Battery life is very impressive as well. My only suggestion for a future model would be to add another control button by the left or right pocket and have heated pockets as well, if you want to take your gloves off. When that model comes out, I will have two of these. Great product. I bought one for the entire family for Christmas, so all three of us have one. Everyone loves their jacket.
