This coat runs very large. I had to return for a smaller size and now adore it. Was happy it was a rainy day today in Chicago so I could test it out properly. Stayed warm and dry throughout the day. Easily fits a down vest or bulky sweater underneath for more warmth. The blackberry color is beautiful. Has two very convenient inside pockets. Lovely plaid/checked lining. I haven’t received the size 12 yet so don’t know about sizing. But loved the coatThe blackberry color is a lot like aubergine - eggplant purple. A perfect color for me. It is well below the knee for my 5’4” height. Detachable hood. Unique and striking design. It makes a statement - look awesome even if you have to be out in chilly wet weather. SIZE DOWN for sure. Having read the sellers caution, I ordered a size 12. I usually wear a 14, even 16. The 12 is the slightest bit snug, but still wearable and awesome. I cannot praise this coat enough. Reasonable price for such a perfect and well made coat.
