Bought this as refills for my original gel kit since I ran out. I would gladly say the quality and durability of the gel staying on is alot better with this verses what the original kit had.After deciding to save money and cut back on my $200/month acrylic fill and gel expenses, I bought an LED, several gel colors and this base and top coat set. Overall I give it a 4 and took one star, because the Matte top coat easily lifts at the cuticles, and makes polish appear discolored. They just look ugly after a couple days. Have tried it twice with different colors and the results have been the same. I’m happy with the base and shiny topcoat, though, so I give 4 stars overall.Wasn’t expecting much but after trying many others and ending with this one it’s great!! Similar to another more expensive brands that I’ve tried. Super glossy and press ons last! My biggest gripe is that whoever is shipping out does not double check what they’re sending out. I’ve ordered about 4 times purchasing two topcoats each time and 2 out of 4 times I’ve received matte topcoats. I’ve received a matte top coat instead of all glossy. While I do like it and end up keeping it please double check because I’ve been shorted on glossy top coats.A little thickI would've given 5 stars had I been more experienced with gel. Now, I have to purchase a dryer because this stuff takes forever to dry, didn't know. I do my own nails and really don't want to sit all day and not be able to do anything but wait for them to dry. Lesson learned.YTD gel polish is the absolute best. It stays on better than any other gel polish I have used.Loved the colorsWorks really well much better than other brands I've used.I got the base/top voat set and was super excited at first but never actually got to do a manicute because the base coat was still wet after over an hour and a half of setting it under the nail lamp. I ran my lamp unyil the battery died and my nails were still wet. I even bought a larger lamp and had the same issue. The top coat cured just fine qnd the matte coat cured instantly as well. Not sure if i got a bad batch or something but this is crazyThis topcoat is disappointing There are ripples and it looks smudged and I haven't had that happen before with other brands. I've been doing my own manicures for years and know to do thin coats and always cure the polish for double the time. It also can't be the colour underneath that is causing the issue because I've used it before many times with good results . Would not recommend.If you can’t open the lids, run it under hot running tap water for 30 seconds. Then hold the bottle and twist the cap with a dry paper towel. This method always works!!This top coat gives you an amazing shine on your nails. The size of the bottle is larger than other products I have used so the value is exceptional.. will definitely be ordering this again!!Great quality! It’s very hard to chip the shiny top coat. The matte i was u fortunately able to easily scrape off though.
